Course Overview

Review the natural history, trial data and current treatment options for intracerebral hemorrhage. Discuss medical interventions targeting hematoma growth, ICP control, anticoagulation reversal, seizure management and current state-of-the-art neuro-intensive care for patients with ICH. Explain the evidence behind surgical interventions for ICH and the pros/cons of different techniques for minimally invasive ICH evacuation. Demonstrate proficiency in image-guided endoscopic evacuation of ICH in simulation lab using 3D-printed heads.
